British Airways is investing millions to expand its Cardiff Maintenance facility as part of a £7 billion transformation. The upgrade will allow one of the three bays at British Airways Maintenance Cardiff (BAMC) to accommodate larger aircraft like the Airbus A350, improving the airline's long-haul fleet support. The expansion, expected to create 480 jobs, will begin in 2025 and be completed by 2026.

 Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has solidified a long-term partnership with Lufthansa Technik (LHT) to support its fleet of Airbus A350 aircraft. The 10-year agreement covers comprehensive component maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for SWISS’s A350 fleet, which is set to join its operations in 2025.
